I am on the horizon, where the sky meets the sea

Hello again and thank you for going further away by my side, I am flattered! 💁🏼‍♀️
Let me introduce myself as a 168 centimeters entertainment creation and fantasy chaser. Everyone needs that kind of specimen in his life, right?

I started my artistic training at a very early age thanks to my parents who are both professional musicians. I learned to play saxophone when I was 5 (my parents bought me the tiniest curved soprano saxophone for Christmas) and started the piano when I was 7 years old. But something was missing… I had to add some dancing to my own music of course! I started ballet and had the chance to perform in The Nutcracker several times among other shows. I was also exposed to many more forms of dance, particularly hip-hop and street dance, which I really loved for offering me more "freedom" compared to the more classical types of dance. Eager to learn, I started tango at the age of 16 while I was on a summer exchange program in Turkey.

My mom being a jazz singer I could not compete with, it’s by imitating her that I started my singing lessons early on together with my other passions. At that time my dream was to become a firebrand show performer, loving the fact that I could share stories and feelings with a worldwide public. I started to work as an actress in the amusement park Walibi Belgium for the Halloween season when an artistic director offered me to incarnate Fibi, the female mascot of the Park. Always looking for more challenges, I decided to move on with my high school studying journey to Flanders, Kunsthumaniora, where I became fluent in Dutch. My curriculum in Hasselt being divided by the general courses and the artistic ones, allowed me to focus on educating myself while I was performing every weekend and every vacation break at Walibi.

Always willing to go further, I did a one-year exchange program in the United States which allowed me to expand my borders and my multilingual ability. From there on my life changed forever. I discovered then that I could mix all my artistic passions into one, the entertainment business. When I came back to Belgium, it would never be the same again.

Because of my past experiences, I was asked to be second assistant director on Lindsay Lohan’s last movie. What a crazy experience and challenge! I graduated with a degree in performing arts, screenwriting, radio, television and film directing/production in June 2018 while I was taking a leading role worldwide regarding emergency measures as a cabin crew member.

Yes, you read well!

When I started my university degree, it still wasn't enough to me. I had to take every chance I got to travel and feel that freedom I had known and discovered in the United States a few years earlier.

I went back to Los Angeles in January 2019 where I worked on commercials and where I got the chance to meet new friends along the way.

Now back to my native land, I am deciding for the next steps in my life. My short term dream would be to create my own radio program, continue writing my tv show and obtain my Private Pilote License.

I like to compare myself as an iceberg. Not the cold-blooded characteristic part, of course, but the freely floating part of this large piece of unknown that has broken off her home to rule on the seven seas. On any profile on social media I usually only allow you to see the tip of myself, but don’t forget there is still another 90% to be discovered undersea…

So, what would be next for me, astronaut? No I am joking around, I have a bigger dream coming up… 🦸🏼‍♀️
